Punch art nutcracker …

Hello and welcome to my blog.

It’s been a while, but I am delighted to be joining the lovely ladies over at the Christmas Card Throwdown challenge blog this week with their wonderful nutcracker challenge, and you still have time to join them too. It doesn’t matter how many stamps sets I own (and I have quite a few!), there always seems to be an occasion when I don’t have anything suitable, and when that happens, I turn to punch art to fulfil the brief …

I am lucky to own quite a library of Stampin’ Up punches, some new, some retired, but all really useful for making this cute little guy.  How many different punches do you think I used?

Inking the edges of the cardstock really brought him to life – what do you think? I popped him up on dimensionals and put him centre stage. I thought there was enough going on on the outside of the card so stamped the sentiment on the inside.

I hope you like my card for this week. The Design Team has created lots of lovely cards to inspire you, so do pop over to the Christmas Card Throwdown challenge blog to take a look.

I love receiving your messages, so if you have any questions, or you just want to say hi, do please leave me a comment.

Thanks for dropping by today
