Cozy critters and foxy friends for Christmas …

Hello and welcome to my blog. Wow! November is flying by – not many weeks to Christmas now! I’m hosting this month’s challenges over at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown.  This week, I have a colour challenge for you … lime green and real red – fun huh?

I am loving the cute little fox from the Cozy Critters stamp set by Stampin’ Up.  I first stamped the fox in real red, then masked him off before stamping the trees from the Foxy Friends stamp set in an old, but favourite, colour from Stampin’ Up – green galore – love it!

I added cute little antlers from the Foxy Friends set in soft suede, and stamped the sentiment in the same colour.  The Christmas ornaments come from the Cozy Critters set too …

The lush, lime green, glittery ribbon was my latest bargain – in the sale after Halloween but just perfect for my card.  I got the red pom pom ribbon in the sale from Stampin’ Up too – I do love a good bargain, don’t you?

Lots of joy Christmas card…

Hello and welcome to my blog. I joined the ladies on the Design Team at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown for this week’s sketch challenge

First, I adhered a strip of dsp to a piece of whisper white glimmer card, then cut out a window using the star framelits from Stampin’ Up and adhered this to a very vanilla base card.

I stamped the sentiment from the Lots of Joy stamp set in the centre using black stazon ink.

The dsp is from the Gilded Winter paper pack. A sprinkling of gold sequins completed the card.

I hope you like my card for this week. The ladies on the Design Team have created some beautiful cards to inspire you, so do call over to 52 Christmas Card Throwdown to take a look.

And there is currently a DT Call – they are looking for new members to join the Team, so if you think you’ve got what it takes, do please submit your entries – we’d love to see what you make.

Thanks for dropping by today.
