I was very fortunate to be part of a fantastic team of Pink Ladies who were at the NEC in Birmingham the first weekend in November. It was so lovely to meet so many people who were as enthusiastic about Stampin’ Up as we are!
We had all worked very hard to make lots of different projects to showcase the beautiful Stampin Up products, and I felt so honoured that one of my projects was picked as a “wow” to be printed for the display and also appear on the website. (Michelle Last took a fab photo of it!)
I used the new Holly Berry Bouquet specialty designer series paper to make this Christmas pine cone, and topped it with a ribbon embellishment, which could be used as the hanger, made from seam binding ribbon in pear pizzazz, and real red narrow taffeta ribbon, and finished with a designer button in old olive.
People seemed to fall in love with this project, together with a paper Christmas tree I made too (photos of that to follow soon). The Holly Berry Bouquet paper is fabulous and each pack contains 12 double sided 12″x12″ papers for just £11.50, and, as two of the designs are beautifully glittered, this is such great value.
I had an amazing day thanks to my fellow Pink Ladies – Michelle, Jenny and Peg. They truly made it a day to remember.
*edited: – I am very happy I was featured on My Crafty Picks and on Nancy Riley’s blog
