Blog hop logo

We’re so glad you could join us on our Blog Hop. We’ll be showcasing lots of gorgeous projects using products from the new Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalogue. Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep hopping. We love comments, so please do tell us what you think!

My projects today highlight the happy day stamp set and the gorgeous quatrefancy specialty designer series paper (dsp) which looks so pretty teamed with the new smoky slate ink and cardstock. A piece of the printed window sheet from the same dsp pack made a fancy border for my card …

And to match the card, I made some pretty packaging using the quick and easy, but fun to make, tag a bag gift box, decorated with strips of dsp and stamped images from the mosaic madness and happy day stamp sets, which work beautifully together …

The tag was embossed with the modern mosaic embossing folder …

… and my paper snips were brilliant for cutting out the stamped images to make the embellishments.

I did a little stamping on the tissue paper for the inside too, so everything matched.

The new smoky slate ink colour is a beautiful silvery grey – I just love it!

And I love how the card and box look together – they are going to make the perfect gift for someone …

Two by two for a new baby boy …

I made a new baby card for Carla who gave birth to her lovely little boy the other day.  Carla was one of the hens at my daughter’s party a little while ago.  I made this shaped card using the scallop circle die and the two by two stamp from Stampin’ Up! in bashful blue and certainly celery …

I added some stamping to the inside of the card too,

with a stamped cardstock circle for the fastening …

My daughter went to Carla’s baby shower a few weeks ago and she asked me to make some gift boxes for the party favours.  I needed to be able to post the boxes to her so neeeded something that would fold flat for posting and that she would then be able to assemble easily when it arrived.  I’m lucky enough to own the pillow box die from Stampin Up, unfortunately no longer available, but it was perfect for what I needed.
