Another card using the emboss resist technique and the bella toile background stamp from Stampin Up – this time heat embossing onto a piece of springtime vintage designer series paper…
I love the texture and feel this card has – almost like lush material.
The card was based on one designed by Jennifer McGuire. I stamped the sentiment from the occasional quotes set onto some certainly celery cardstock and attached it to the card with stampin dimensionals. Finally, I tied some linen thread through three marina mist designer buttons from the Stampin Up subtles collection, and added them to the card with glue dots.
I love the way using this technique has completely changed the look of the designer series paper. I can’t wait to play some more!
