Stampin’ Up! VW camper van …

I don’t know about you, but my latest project always seems to be my absolute favourite … until I move on and make another of course! But I really enjoyed making this card for my friend, Clare – a VW camper van, Stampin’ Up style …

VW camper van

It was for her boyfriend’s birthday, and for his present

Clare has hired a VW camper van for the weekend

– pretty cool huh?

The silver foil sheets from the Stampin’ Up autumn/winter catalogue were perfect for the lights, bumper and mirrors.

I used circle punches for the mirrors, lights and bunting, the rest of the card was cut freehand with my paper snips.

I had a scrap of certainly celery cardstock, which I used for the grass –

it is still available from the clearance rack, while stocks last.

And I thought I’d share some photos of the camper

van cake I made a while back for Rob’s 40th birthday …

Robs 40th VW camper van cake

This was a normal sized cake compared to my first attempt at a camper van cake.

It still took a while to decorate but it was worth it.

And you may remember a long while back, I posted photos of my baby dresser card

and then photos of the baby – well Rob is this little boy’s dad!

Here’s what I used to make today’s card – all supplies from Stampin’ Up!:

cardstock: soft sky, cherry cobbler, whisper white, certainly celery, silver foil sheet, basic black, night of navy; stamp sets: teeny tiny wishes; inks: black stazon; punches: 1/2” circle, 3/4” circle, 1” circle, owl builder, petite pennants builder, small heart, word window; accessories: stampin’ dimensionals, paper snips.

Thanks for dropping by today
