Spellbinders Joyful Christmas Card Kit

Hello and welcome to my craft space.

It’s the start of a new month, which means it’s a sketch challenge today over at 52 Christmas Card ThrowdownFabiola is our hostess this month – here’s my take on her lovely sketch…

I am still working my way through the Spellbinders Joyful Christmas card kit – you get so much in the kit that you can make a ton of cards, and I am having so much fun using it.

I love the pretty papers in the kit, and there is so much to choose from with the die cut ephemera.  I auditioned a few different ones but landed on these as I thought they went so well together.

I chose two different patterned papers from the paper pad and adhered these direct to the A2 card base.  Next, I added a plain white card panel, choosing not to add fancy corners but to keep the design simple.

For the die cuts, I chose a branch and did a little bit of fussy cutting to it, plus 3 of the pretty baubles, which I popped up on foam tape to add dimension.

I added a puffy sticker sentiment from the kit, and finished with a sprinkling of silver half-backed pearls from my collection.

No stamping on my card this week – just purely bits from the kit, making it a super quick card to put together.

I hope you’ve been inspired to join the challenge this week – we’d love to see what you make.  Why not pop over to 52 Christmas Card Throwdown and see what the Design Team have been up to?

Enjoy your weekend
