Christmas cards using the Spellbinders Mosaic Bracket Card Builder die set

Hello and welcome to my craft room.

I have two cards to share with you today for the colour challenge over at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown, where Fabiola has challenged us to use kraft, white and blue on our cards.  I used the Mosaic Bracket Card Builder dies by Spellbinders to make these cards …

For my first card, I followed the example picture that came with the die set, just changing the position of the embellishment.  I really like the classy shapes these dies create. I chose card in crumb cake, white and soft sky by Stampin Up.

I didn’t add any dimension to the die cuts to keep the card flat for ease of posting.

With the left over card pieces I was also able to make this card, which I think I might actually like better …

This time, I added the snowflake diet cuts with foam dots, a little clear glitter for sparkle, and some crystal effects to the small heart. I love the scripty font of this sentiment by Spellbinders, from the Winter Garden sentiments stamp set.

I hope you’ve been inspired to join in the challenge this week – we’d love to see what you make.   Do hop on over to the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown webpage to see what the Design Team have made for you.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend

  1. I love the die cut, I beg that could be uséd time-and-again, it’s like a medieval Arabic window.

i also particularly like the Happy Holidays font, very 1950’s American movie style.
