It’s all change at Stampin Up, now that they’ve released their retiring list..
One of my absolute favourite alphabet stamps sets is retiring too 
– schoolbook serif – so I have real mixed feelings as I know I’m going to miss it (I can’t believe how much I’ve used it on my cards!), but I also can’t wait for all the lovely new stamp sets that will be introduced in the new catalogue to be released on 1st October … I’m so excited, I can hardly wait!
And over on the Less is More website this week – the challenge is Metallic – so I just had to make a Barbara Gray inspired Christmas card using my favourite alphabet set … ‘cos it nearly is you know 
…
It was a bit difficult to show the silver embossing in the photo, so I had to angle the card to catch the light …
The large ‘o’ is from the Something Sweet stamp set, and I used the Lovely as a Tree set for the scene inside and my speedball brayer to add colour. I really enjoyed making this one!

What a great card, I love the image in the middle of the ‘O’.
These are my favourite style of Barbara card. I am always mesmerised by how she does them. This is simply stunning Gill. And such a clever use of the circle from Something Sweet. Absolutely lovely ;0) xx
Really love this! I have been very tempted by this stamp and seeing it just as it is on white card with the beautiful little scene inside the ‘O’ is persuading me even more 🙂
