Sometimes it’s hard to say goodbye…

It’s all change at Stampin Up, now that they’ve released their retiring list..

One of my absolute favourite alphabet stamps sets is retiring too  Sad smile – schoolbook serif –  so I have real mixed feelings as I know I’m going to miss it (I can’t believe how much I’ve used it on my cards!), but I also can’t wait for all the lovely new stamp sets that will be introduced in the new catalogue to be released on 1st October … I’m so excited, I can hardly wait!

And over on the Less is More  website this week – the challenge is Metallic – so I just had to make a Barbara Gray inspired Christmas card using my favourite alphabet set … ‘cos it nearly is you know Winking smile

It was a bit difficult to show the silver embossing in the photo, so I had to angle the card to catch the light …

The large ‘o’ is from the Something Sweet stamp set, and I used the Lovely as a Tree set for the scene inside and my speedball brayer to add colour.  I really enjoyed making this one!

Thanks for dropping by today
