I made a card for my friend, Jan, who retired just before Christmas
using the everything eleanor and layered labels stamp sets …
The apothecary accent framelits were perfect for die cutting the stamped labels, and I handcut the flowers with my paper snips from Stampin’ Up!
Jan is one of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet. She is so friendly and will help anyone. She’s also really calm – I don’t think I’ve ever seen her panic – she remains cool, calm and collected at all times!
Jan is now enjoying her well earned retirement and hopefully having some time to pamper herself for a change.

cardstock: whisper white, pretty in pink; stamp sets: everything eleanor, layered labels; inks: pretty-in-pink, rose red, lucky limeade; dies: apothecary accents framelits: accessories: nursery nest dsp (retired), adhesive pearls, stampin’ dimensionals, rose red seam binding ribbon, mini glue dots, sponge daubers, paper snips.

Layered Labels looks so Anna Griffin! How did you color/ink the image to get that mottled coloring? It’s fab!

To achieve the mottled look, like on the label, first ink up the whole stamp in the lightest ink colour – here I used pretty-in-pink. Then place your stamp face up on your work table and add darker areas of ink with a stampin’ write marker pen here and there as desired – I used rose red. When you are happy with your colouring, huff on the stamp before stamping onto your cardstock. The moisture from your breath is enough to refresh the ink.
