Today’s card was inspired by one of my cakes.
The silver glimmer paper looked quite striking against the basic black card,
and looked so sparkly and pretty in real life …

My daughter’s friend asked me to make the cake
in black and silver, with feathers …

… for her classy, diva nan.

I was really pleased with how both the card and the cake turned out.

Thank you Jane – I’m so glad you liked. And hard work is the answer 😀 – I also have an excellent cake teacher at college, who has kindly passed on her tips and knowledge, for which I shall always be grateful.
Just stunning Gill and another great looking cake, mmm a slice with a cuppa would be lovely x
I’m glad you liked it Peg. I’m getting lots of practice in before I make the wedding cake 😀 xx
