Stampin’ Up lovely as a tree – a Christmas landscape challenge …

It’s time for another 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown challenge, and this week the theme is Christmas landscapes.  I took inspiration from my diorama card to make this snowy landscape …

Lovely as a tree Christmas landscape

I used a brayer to add ink to the card in 2 shades of blue.  The snowy effect was stamped with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set from Stampin’ Up …

Touches of dazzling diamonds gave a hint of sparkle here and there…

The image was mounted onto whisper white card and then onto night of navy to make an A5-size card, which is a really popular size for cards here in the UK.

A length of whisper white organza ribbon, tied in a bow around the card, added some softness, texture and a little luxury too.

Finally, I added a sparkling frosted finishes embellishment to the bow – these were in the autumn/winter catalogue but I hope they make an appearance again soon – they are just gorgeous!

I hope you like my card for this week, and I’d love to see what you’ve created.  If you’re feeling inspired, hop on over and join in the fun at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown.
