I went with a nautical theme for this Fathers’ Day card, using the timeless, summer-seaside favourite colours of red, white and blue, with a little sahara sand thrown in too…
the background was stamped in sahara sand …
and layers of night of navy cardstock added beneath the stamped images …
A length of card, run through a paper crimper, added texture and interest, together with the linen thread and a mini brad …
cardstock: whisper white, real red, night of navy, sahara sand;
stamp sets: the open sea, teeny tiny wishes;
inks: real red, night of navy, sahara sand;
punches & dies: circles, circle framelits, modern label, word window;
accessories: silver mini brads, stampin’ dimensionals, linen thread, paper crimper (retired).
