Hi and welcome to my blog.
This week’s Christmas Elves theme challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown had me stuck for a while as I don’t own any suitable stamps to keep with the theme. So instead, I turned to my go-to technique when my (large) stamp library fails me – punch art – using a combination of designer series paper (dsp) and cardstock to make this elf punch art card …
I’ve seen lots of Santa suit punch art cards around in blogland, but not many that look like elves. I took inspiration from this card by Ros Davidson and changed it up to look like an elf.
I hope you like my card for this week. It was fun and relatively simple to make, and would appeal to both young and old alike.
The girls on the Design Team have created lots of lovely cards to inspire you, so do hop on over to the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown challenge blog to take a look.
cardstock: whisper white, basic black, lucky limeade, champagne glimmer paper;
punches: 1” square, corner rounder;
accessories: season of style dsp, mini glue dots, red buttons from my stash;
