Hi and welcome to my blog.
It’s been a very exciting time for my daughter and her husband recently – they’ve been to their friends’ wedding in Las Vegas! I was asked to make something special for the happy couple so I chose a pop up box card …

Pop up box cards certainly have the wow factor, like the one I made a few years back for my husband for our silver wedding anniversary, so I knew this was the type of card I would make – all I had to do was decide on the design. From what I’ve been told, both the bride and groom loved it.

The good thing is that this dimensional card folds flat to fit inside a normal sized envelope, but once opened, it pops up to reveal the surprise. The panel at the back gave ample space for a greeting to be added.
I loved making this one – it was great fun to do. Hope you like it.

stamps: hearts a flutter, occasional quotes, whimsical words;
inks: black stazon, real red;
cardstock: whisper white, basic black, pacific point, red glimmer paper;
punches and dies: small heart, small circle, fancy label, hearts a flutter framelits, corner rounder;
accessories: back to black dsp, black feathers and confetti pieces from my stash, Vegas sign computer generated;
All supplies from Stampin’ Up unless otherwise stated.
I love receiving your messages, so if you have any questions, or you just want to say hi, do please leave me a comment.

What a fantastic pop up box card!!! Amaizing!
I was at the wedding, I am Lolly’s auntie, your card was amazing!!! I too make cards, when I saw yours I wanted to throw mine in the bin!! They loved it!!!!! You are very talented!!
Thank you so much for your lovely comments. I’m sure your card was just as much loved and appreciated because you took the time to make it for them. Handmade cards say so much more than the sentiments written on them, Lolly will treasure it and it will be part of her wonderful wedding day memories.

Thanks Gill!! I would love to know where you got the template for the actual box? Thinking of attempting to make one for Lolly’s 30th birthday 😄 Julie xxx
