Festive foliage …

Hello and welcome to my blog. There’s another cracking card challenge over at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown this week. I think this would make a perfect card for my husband, with the masculine colours and simple design …

Festive foliage

Crumb cake cardstock for the base, with old olive and whisper white accents – it was all about the textures with this one, from the woodgrain embossed background, to the foliage itself. Silver glimmer paper provided festive sparkle, and baker’s twine some softness too.

  1. I think the colours and texture are just perfect. The woodgrain background with the die cut foliage is lovely and I do like the shimmer one the word snow. Fab work. Deborah xx

    1. Thank you for your lovely comments Deborah. I had my husband in mind when I made the card, hence the woodgrain background and colours chosen, but even he likes a little sparkle and glitter at Christmas so the glitter card worked well xx
