Christmas card in black, white and glitz

Hello and welcome to my craft space.

The first challenge of every month is always a sketch over at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. I looked to my scraps box for some inspiration for my card …

Extra pieces die cut for previous projects came in handy to use as embellishments, as did the scraps of black and white dsp by Stampin Up.

Even the sentiment, stamped in black on basic white card, seemed to be a perfect fit – this card almost made itself! It turned out to be a real scap buster card and I just love the result – what do you think?

I love the simple elegance of the dsp and the die cuts…

I hope you’ve been inspired to join us at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown this week – we would love to see what you make.

Happy weekend

  1. That’s magical, especially love the snowflakes, they have depth like looking at stars in space.

  2. I love that you were able to use up elements from past crafty sessions. This is one thing that I love about my sketch that you can use up some of those bits hanging around waiting to be used.
I wouldn’t have been able to tell that you had used scraps to make this either 🙂
