Sale-a-bration inspiration…

My daughter gave me this gorgeous embroidery as a Christmas present.  It must’ve taken her a very long time as the stitches are so tiny and detailed. From the gold thread in the top left corner to the teeny tiny stitches and satin thread in the bottom right – it is just beautiful.

I love it!  The colours go so well with my lounge – just perfect!  And it meant so much receiving such a wonderful gift which she’d stitched with love.  It inspired me to make this card to send her as a thank you:

I used two of the free stamp sets from the sale-a-bration catalogue – sweet summer and bliss (my favourite) – and used champagne shimmer mist paint on the top butterfuly to emulate the gold thread she’d used in the embroidery.

I hope she likes it!

Stampin Up supplies used:

Cardstock: whisper white, crumb cake; Inks: crumb cake, soft suede, so saffron, baja breeze, cherry cobbler, champagne mist, versamark; Accessories: clear embossing powder, stampin write markers in so saffron and baja breeze; Stamp sets: sweet summer, bliss.
