St Valentine’s Day …

I love punched paper art and am amazed at some of the wonderful effects you can create with just a handful of punches and some ink.

I thought I’d have a go … and made this Valentine’s Day card for my honey:

It’s supposed to be a love bug … I hope it doesn’t look too much like a spider! (Well there are only six legs and not eight).

I couldn’t resist changing the words on the stamp at the bottom with a chocolate chip stampin’ write marker from “hugs and kisses” to “Bugs and kisses”! I had so much fun making this… I love it… and I hope he does too!

Stampin’ Up supplies used:

Cardstock: crumb cake, chocolate chip, whisper white, pretty in pink, real red, black; Inks: pretty in pink, crumb cake, chocolate chip, black, whisper white craft; Stamp sets: dot dot dot, love you much; Punches: butterfly, ½” and ¾” circle, oval large, oval extra‑large, small heart, heart to heart, two-step bird, scallop edge, scallop circle; Accessories: sponge daubers, stampin write marker pens in chocolate chip and real red, white gel pen, stampin’ dimensionals, real red striped grosgrain ribbon, sticky strip, snail adhesive, stamp-a-ma-jig.

Thanks for dropping by today
