I just loved playing with the Charming stamp set from the new mini catalogue. Once I started working with it, I found it so easy to make beautiful patterns and my own background papers with the images in the set.
My favourite stamp is the circular image and at first I was using it on everything! I had to stop myself in the end and make a concerted effort to use the other stamps too, which are equally as lovely but I could have gone on to make a gazillion projects just using this one stamp as it lends itself to so many things!
Using the new in-colours palette, I stamped the circle image twice, once in first generation ink and then again without re-inking. This gave a beautifully soft, more muted look to the image. I punched out each one with a circle punch and mounted these onto textured whisper white cardstock which I cut down from 12”x12” to a standard A6 size – really easy to do with my Fiskars paper trimmer from Stampin’ Up! which is amazing value at only £19.95 in the main catalogue.
I stamped the sentiment in early espresso ink and adhered a rhinestone for some added sparkle. Simple yet effective, and I just love these colours together ….
