My nephew turned 10 last week.  We bought him a Mario computer game so I made a card to go with it …

I was inspired by a gift bag I’d seen on Pinterest here, and by the pictures on the game box too.  I used a variety of punches, but also did a little freehand cutting.

It seemed to go down very well with the birthday boy!

So, have you discovered Pinterest yet? It is an amazing place for ideas and inspiration … or even just for admiration of all the beautiful creations by fabulously talented people out there! I love it!

I think, therefore I pin …

And whilst I wasn’t looking, my blog count reached over 50,000 hits! Oh my word – how did that happen?!

I am truly amazed and feel very honoured that there are so many people out there who like my blog enough to stop by for a look – so a great big thank you to all my blog readers – I am very thankful for your support.  Big hugs….
