Wirral card making – Christmas stamp-a-stacks …

I met up with some friends in Wirral for a little crafting session this week. As it’s now less than 17 weeks to Christmas (oh my word – where has this year gone to? And the new autumn/winter catalogue will be out tomorrow!) – we made a stack of Christmas cards – 5 each of 2 designs – one traditional and one more modern.

*

We used a masking technique to stamp a Christmas wreath onto whisper white cardstock using one of the images from the autumn days stamp set from Stampin’ Up!, in two colours using stampin’ write marker pens – old olive and early espresso …

It was surprising how quickly we could stamp the images – it seemed to take no time at all!

And for a more modern look, we used pool party cardstock and ink to make this snowflake and bauble card, and added adhesive rhinestones in different sizes for sparkle…

All supplies from Stampin’ Up!

Card recipe: cardstock: real red, whisper white, pool party; stamp sets: autumn days, serene snowflakes, polar party, contempo Christmas; ink: pool party, pretty in pink, early espresso, black stazon; punches: bauble, circle, corner rounder; accessories: stampin’ write marker pens in old olive and early espresso, blender pen, stampin’ dimensionals, adhesive rhinestones, old olive satin ribbon, pool party baker’s twine, mini glue dots, tombow adhesive.

Thanks for dropping by today
