I’m still trying out designs for wedding invitations …
I used naturals ivory cardstock with a layer of very vanilla stamped with basic grey ink.
A couple of rows of lace added texture, and adhesive pearls from Stampin’ Up! in the centre of each lace circle a touch of luxury.
I like the vintage look of the card – reminds me of the Art Deco style …
but it’s still not quite what my daughter wants …
so back to that drawing board again!

cardstock: naturals ivory, very vanilla; stamp sets: wedding sweet (retired); inks: basic grey; accessories: adhesive pearls, sticky strip, stamp-a-majig; additional: lace from my stash.

Love it Gill ! It has an elegant and luxurious look and yes it is very Art Deco in feel but the lace is also quite shell like !!! I can’t wait to see ” take three ” !!!! Hugs Jane x
