A little Christmas sparkle …

Hi, and welcome to my blog.

I’m back as hostess again this week at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown with another new challenge.  And this time, I wanted to see some Christmas sparkle, so the stash challenge is for glitter and bling …

Christmas-sparkle

I water coloured the Lili of the Valley image using my Stampin’ Up inks, an aqua painter and blender pen.  Once the image was dry, I added dazzling diamonds using a glue pen …

Some glimmer paper snowflakes added a little more bling, with star centres and adhesive rhinestones …

I had some Christmas designer series paper from last year, which was too pretty not to be used.  The colours were just perfect and the patterns went so well with my theme. I love these cute little penguins … so adorable!

I couldn’t find a shade of ink I was happy with for the penguins’ beaks and feet, so I first coloured them with daffodil delight, and while the ink was still wet, went over them with a little calypso coral using a blender pen. Now that colour I was happy with!

I hope you like my card for this week. Now it’s time to see what the rest of the Design Team have been making for you at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown.
