Inlaid dies technique and Christmas lights …

Hi and welcome to my blog. It’s the first challenge of February at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown, so that means we have a sketch to follow. You can choose any shapes, any layers and add embellishments of your choice

I’ve been tidying my craftroom and discovering wonderful forgotten lovelies, like this pretty Christmas paper.

It’s so pretty I didn’t want to cover it up, so stamped the greeting directly onto the paper…

I love using the inlaid dies technique, so used it again here for the topper, first stamping the tree image, before die cutting and adding it to the card …

I found a scrap of ribbon and luckily there was just enough to tie a pretty bow …

  1. This is so pretty, love the chain of lights on the paper, I don’t think I use paper enough. The bow is gorgeous and the inlaid tree looks very professional
