Hi and welcome to my blog. The stash challenge this week at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown, is to use ribbon. I’ve wanted to try my hand at ribbon weaving for a while now, so this was the perfect opportunity to give it a go …
I found a very helpful ribbon weaving tutorial on youtube, which explains the technique really clearly. The narrow grosgrain ribbon from Stampin’ Up worked beautifully.

Gill, I love your creative use of the ribbon here. Your wreath turned out wonderfully! The pearl accents coordinate well with the satiny stripe in the ribbon. Excellently done!
