Folk art Christmas for world card making day

Hi, and welcome to my blog.

It’s world card making day today, and also a new month – which means a new member of the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown team has set the challenges for us this month. It’s Madja’s turn and she has set the first challenge of the month, which is always a sketch…

I used the folk Christmas stamp and diet set by Sizzix to stamp this cute little polar bear …

I made an inky background using tumbled glass distress ink and a blender brush and splashed with perfect pearls and water for a snowy effect …

And added some glittery snowflakes for sparkle…

I hope you like my card for this week. The ladies at the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown would love you to joing them – do pop by and share your beautiful artwork.
