When I went to Michelle Last’s craft day a little while ago, we received some amazing make and take projects with lots of goodies from the summer mini catalogue, but (as usual) I was far too busy chatting to my friends to complete them on the day! I was finally able to sit at my craft desk and finish what I started… *
The make and take example was in pink and grey, but my favourite pattern from the twitterpated dsp pack is the basic grey, which looks so classy, so I used this to line the inside of the card and teamed it with daffodil delight – just love these colours together!
The front of the card had been cut using the new labels framelit dies from Stampin Up – if you look closely, you can see the embossing too. *

I stamped one of the label stamps, from the Apothecary Art stamp set, in basic grey ink onto whisper white cardstock and cut it out with the matching label die and my big-shot machine. The flowers were coloured with daffodil delight ink using a blender pen, and I stamped the sentiment, from the Happiest Birthday Wishes hostess stamp set, in black staz-on ink, using my stamp-a-majig to line it up perfectly.
Finally, I tied a length of daffodil delight narrow grosgrain ribbon, tied in a small bow, to one side of the card, and popped a mini glue dot under the bow to keep it in place.
Yellow and grey go so well together … I’m so happy I got to finish my make and takes. *
