There’s a stash challenge over at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown this week, and the challenge is to make a card using metallic papers. I broke out my holiday ornaments framelits, a variety of embossing folders, some gold foil cardstock and then just had fun!

I was really pleased with how the gold foil looked against the elegant eggplant background …

The shiny gold ornaments are stunning against the purple background. The embossing and dimension really bring your fabulous card to life. 🙂
Thank you Patricia. It’s a little hard to see in the photos, but I also curled the ornaments with my fingers too, giving them a rounded, 3D appearance, and then only added dimensionals to the centres to accentuate the curves. I’m so happy you liked it. Gill x
