Lovely as a tree with a triple time stamping technique…

Hi and welcome to my blog. It’s Louise’s last week to host over at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown, and this time she has a triple time stamping technique for us.

I took inspiration from a diorama card I made some time back, and inked up my card using my brayer, before stamping across all layers with the fir tree image from the Lovely as a Tree stamp set by Stampin’ Up…

I then stamped over the top with whisper white craft and illuminate inks using the gorgeous grunge stamp set, to give the illusion of snow. I inked the shaped base card to match.

The card was embellished with a hand-tied bow and glittered snowflake die.

I am linking my card to the following challenges:

Virginia’s View Challenge #14 – layers and dimensions

Winter Wonderland Challenge – twinkle, twinkle (all things sparkly and bright)

Word Art Wednesday #180 – anything goes/family friendly

I hope you like my card for this week.  Our Design Team has created lots of lovely cards to inspire you, so do pop over to 52 Christmas Card Throwdown challenge blog to take a look.

Stampin’ Up UK golden holiday ornaments …

There’s a stash challenge over at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown this week, and the challenge is to make a card using metallic papers.  I broke out my holiday ornaments framelits, a variety of embossing folders, some gold foil cardstock and then just had fun!

I was really pleased with how the gold foil looked against the elegant eggplant background …
