Wondrous wreath in white and gold …

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week’s colour challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown is to use white and metallic gold, a very classic combination for Christmas and full of possibilities …

White and gold wreath Christmas card

The wreath was stamped in versamark ink on whisper white cardstock, and heat embossed with metallic gold powder. It is so easy to cut out using the matching framelits.

A whisper white organza ribbon bow tied around a band of whisper white cardstock added some texture to the bottom of the DL size card base. I fussy cut the sentiment, popped it up on dimensionals together with the wreath and added some gold sequins from Stampin’ Up in a random pattern.

  1. Great to see you back Gill. I love this tall, elegant Christmas card – so very beautiful. xxx

  2. elle est superbe Gill, comment réussi tu a créer une telle beauté avec si peu, biz

  3. I never think to make long, narrow cards like this. Yours looks terrific! I really like how the sentiment is “floating” over the wreath (is there a die for that, or did you fussy cut it?).
