Christmas lights die cuts …

Hello and welcome to my blog. December is a busy month with Christmas just around the corner, so we have a month long challenge at the Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge blog to pick any previous challenge from 2012 or 2013.  I chose a technique challenge from October 2012 – die cuts …

I die cut the Christmas lights from red and green glitter paper, and the tops from silver cardstock.  The background is dsp by Stampin’ Up that I’ve had in my stash for ages – glad to have put it to good use at long last!

I love how glittery the lights look – but the glitter does shed quite a bit –

yes, I do have glitter on my face!

I popped the lights up on dimensionals and stamped a sentiment, which seemed to fit perfectly …

I hope you like my card. The Design Team has created lots of lovely cards to inspire you, so do pop over to the Christmas Card Throwdown challenge blog to take a look.

I love receiving your messages, so if you have any questions, or you just want to say hi, do please leave me a comment.

Thanks for dropping by today
