Hello and welcome.
This week’s sketch challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown has a great focal point for a card …

I used a textured card base in white, cut down to a regular A6 size card, then added 2 squares of cardstock, one in melon mambo for a pop of colour, and one in shimmery white, die cut with a stitched square die.

The sketch was perfect for showcasing this 3D snowflake in pool party card, cut using the Tim Holtz embosslit. I added a glittery snowflake on top for added depth.

I added a strip of whisper white card, and stamped the sentiment from Christmas to Remember by Stampin Up, in black stazon ink.

Finally, I added a few sequins and diamantes in deep pink.
I hope you’ve been inspired to join in the challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown this week – we’d love to see your cards.
Enjoy your weekend
