Pinkies Stampin’ Up! autumn/winter seasonal catalogue blog hop …

Blog hop logo

Thank you for joining us on another Pinkies Blog Hop! We’re showcasing lots of gorgeous projects using products from the new Stampin’ Up!® Autumn/Winter Seasonal Catalogue. Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep hopping!

If you’ve arrived from Sarah’s blog, a big hello to you.

There are so many lovely new products to choose from in the seasonal catalogue that I was spoiled for choice. The winter frost designer series paper really caught my eye as it is just beautiful.  The designs are so gorgeous – I love it all. After stroking the paper for a while (I know, us crafters love to stroke paper!) I cut into it to make this pretty gift box, ideal for holding personalised stationery, recipes or greetings cards …

It will make an ideal Christmas gift and I know just who I’m going to give it to.

I added some matching dividers with space to write notes such as birthdays and important dates …

box dividers

To make the box, you need just one 12”x12” piece of cardstock and one sheet of designer series paper, with a little extra for embellishments and dividers if you wish.

The box holds standard sized cards and envelopes.  I have a tutorial available if you would like to make one yourself, with sizes in both inches and centimetres.

There was enough designer paper left to also make a 6″x6″ card and matching gift tag …

Here’s what I used to make today’s projects – all supplies from Stampin’ Up!:

cardstock: smoky slate 12″x12″ co-ordinations, whisper white; stamp sets: festive flurry, wishing you; ink: soft sky, basic grey; punches/dies: 1” circle, festive flurry framelits, hole punch; accessories: frosted finishes embellishments, whisper white baker’s twine, winter frost dsp, stampin’ dimensionals, tombow multi purpose glue, anywhere glue stick,  simply scored scoreboard, adorning accents edgelits, paper cutter, paper snips, bone folder, bigshot machine.

I hope you have a great weekend and do make sure you stop by the next stop in the hop which is Lisa’s blog, as I know she has so much to inspire you too.
