Stampin’ Up UK Christmas card with sparkly stars …

It’s time for another 52 Christmas Card Throwdown challenge!  And this week the theme is stars …

Stampin Up UK Christmas stars

When I saw this week’s challenge, for me, the choice was pretty easy – stars need to sparkle after all.  So I punched out a bunch from white glimmer paper using the small star punch from Stampin’ Up, and then arranged them in a random pattern around my stamped sentiment from More Merry Messages…

I added a sprinkling of adhesive rhinestones too…

A strip of cherry cobbler cardstock added some contrast, and the whisper white organza ribbon, tied around the card, added some softness and texture …

  2. Wow! This is absolutely stunning! Sparkly stars, beautiful colours and the bow is fab (I can’t do bows!).

    • Thank you Deborah., I love the glimmer paper – I had to refrain from punching more and more stars! LOL! I’ve had a lot of practise with bows, and I mean a lot! My dear mum, bless her heart, knitted a beautiful Christening robe for my daughter many years ago, and I got the job of tying over 100 teeny tiny bows that were then sewn to the robe! It was gorgeous when it was finished and well worth the effort, Have a great weekend. xx
