Christmas pines …

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown, we are asking you to use a previous sketch.  We’ve had some lovely ones this year, so there are lots to choose from.  I chose one I’d missed first time round, from July 2016

I broke out my new stamps and dies from Stampin’ Up – Christmas pines stamp set and the matching pretty pines thinlits…

It’s a little hard to tell from the photos, but the sentiment was gold heat embossed on vellum, making a circular window in the card.

I added some stamping and punched corners to the inside layer too, inspired by my team mate, Deborah, who always makes the inside of her cards look just as beautiful as the outside. I think I need more practice …

I hope you like my card for this week. The Design Team has created lots of lovely cards to inspire you, so do pop over to 52 Christmas Card Throwdown challenge blog to take a look. Don’t forget the DT call too – we’d love you to join us.

I love receiving your messages, so if you have any questions, or you just want to say hi, do please leave me a comment.

Thanks for dropping by today
