Fancy fold Christmas card

Hi, and welcome to my blog.

For Madja’s technique challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown this week, the challenge is to make fancy fold cards. My biggest challenge was choosing which one to try out – I eventually decided, after much deliberating, on a tunnel card. Not much to look at on the front …

Although I did get to play with some new snowflake dies from Sizzix, and some pretty snowflake paper from Stampin’ Up.

I die cut the sentiment from some shiny silver card – not easy to show here…

I teamed it with some scraps from my scraps box – it’s always nice when you can use up your paper scraps up, isn’t it? So satisfiying …

All the fun is on the inside of the card – that’s where the real show is…

With pretty designer series paper and sparkly snowflakes and a beautiful stamped sentiment.

A bit difficult to photograph and do it justice, but looks lovely in real life …

I hope you like my card for this week. The ladies at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown would love you to join them – do pop by and share your Christmas makes.
