A gnome Christmas

Hi there and happy Saturday!

There’s a fun challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown this week – where the theme is gnomes! I loved making this one …

I die cut the gnome in lucky limeade, melon mambo and whisper white, with a little flesh colour card for his face and nose, and 2 dots of black for his eyes.  His hat was die cut from dsp by the Lovely Studio.

Next, I cut the background in crumbcake card and heat embossed the sentiment, from the Elfie stamp set by Stampin Up, in white.

Then I had fun making lots of splashes, using a fan brush and perfect pearls mixed with water for a snowy background…

Finally, I adhered the gnome, wrapped green and white twine tied in a bow, then mounted it on a scalloped white base card.

I hope you’ve been inspired to join this fun challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown this week.  The lovely ladies in the team have created lots of examples for you, so do drop by.

Enjoy your weekend
