Easy to make Christmas cards

Hello and welcome.

The challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown today is a tic-tac-toe, where you can choose a combination of things to include on your card.  I chose a tag, embossing and stitching…

I stamped the Papermania tag, which has faux stitching, and the sentiment, in versamark ink, and heat embossed in gold.

I hand cut the tag, tied a Stampin Up ribbon at the top and mounted it onto and old olive base card by Stampin Up.  The pretty paper layer is by the Lovely Studio. Finally, I added a few green sequins to finish.

I kept the design simple, so whilst I had out all my craft things, I made another…

I was having fun, so I tried different colourways…

I loved that the Stampin Up ribbon I added to this one had stitching too…

Not sure which card is my favourite now…

which do you prefer?

So, I’ve now add lots of cards to my Christmas card collection!

I’ve had this Papermania stamp set for the longest time, and just knew it would be perfect for this project.  All the pretty papers are by the Lovely Studio, and cardstock is by Stampin Up.

I hope you’ve been inspired to join us at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown – hope to see your beautiful creations there.

Enjoy your weekend
