Hello and welcome.
I have the honour of setting the challenges for the whole of December over at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown – I’m so excited!
We are trimming our tree today, giving me inspiration for my card this week.
There’s still time to make that special card for that certain someone before Christmas, so I hope you’ll join in. As always, the first challenge of the month is a sketch …
I used two shades of blue to stamp the background using the Christmas Season stamp set by Stampin Up. The sentiment is from Christmas to Remember …
The die cut trees and snowflake are by Lora Bailora, mounted on a deckle edge die cut by Tim Holtz. I love these modern die cuts – so cute!
I added some tiny stars and a little dazzling diamonds for added sparkle. I found the perfect shade of navy ribbon in my stash to finish the card.
I hope you’ve been inspired to join the challenge over at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown this week. The ladies on the design team have created some gorgeous cards for your inspiration, so do hop on over to take a look.
Enjoy your weekend
