I saw the Have A Chill Summer stamp and die set in the Spellbinders sale and couldn’t resist! Together they make the sweetest cards.
Distress oxide inks were perfect for blending the colourful strip along the bottom of the card. I also like the imperfect stamping, giving a more realistic look to the lolly ices …. yep, I am Liverpool born and bred and we call them lolly ices. You can take the girl out of Liverpool, but you can’t take Liverpool out of the girl!
A little stamping on the inside too, to complete the look.
I saw this colour combo and layout on the Sunny Studio website – you can check it out here. The original creator was Amy, but the link to her blog no longer works. Thank you Amy for the inspiration – I just love these colours next to each other.
