Well, it’s only 88 days to go now …yes, it’s nearly that most wonderful time of the year again

So when I got together with my friends last week, here’s what we made…

I loved using the medallion stamp from Stampin Up as the main image rather than using it as a background stamp, and the lucky limeade ink we used looked so lovely in real life!   It even went so well with the old olive cardstock.  Everything toned so beautifully together – love it!   We cut “berries” from real red cardstock with the cropadile, and added them to the card using tombow mono multi glue.  Then came the part the ladies love …making bows! We tied a bow from real red satin ribbon from Stampin Up and adhered it to the card using glue dots. 

Then we used some designer series paper from the Jolly Holiday paper pack to make the card and the gift box too.  The label was stamped using the delightful decorations stamp set, and tied to the box with gold elastic cord. 

So at least I’ve made a start on my Christmas cards for this year… two down, 98 to go …  ho, ho, ho!
