Flirty thirty…

Rachel had a 30th birthday party last week.  I was inspired by a card on Splitcoast Stampers – I loved the soft and subtle colours, and the layout, so got out my Stampin Up supplies to case this pretty card…

Tiffany dazzling diamonds, beautiful wings and the wonders of heat and stick …

My daughter loves Tiffany – what’s not to love? – and the new Pool Party in-colour from Stampin’ Up reminds me so much of the Tiffany blue I just had to use it for her birthday card…

I cut out several butterflies in whisper white cardstock using the beautiful wings embosslit and the big shot die cutting machine.  I applied versamark ink to the largest butterfly, covered it with heat and stick powder from Stampin Up – a bargain at only £3.75 – and then heated with my heat gun.  I quickly covered the butterfly with dazzling diamonds and heat set it again with my heat gun.

The result is a beautiful, sparkling, glittered butterfly which won’t shed it’s glitter – gorgeous!

I decorated the inside of the card too …
