Perfect spiced paisley pattern…

These are the make and take projects I did at my friend, Ruth’s, craft evening recently.  They’re a variation on the make and takes we made at my upline, Michelle’s, crafting day a little while back.  I loved them so much I just had to share…

I love the spiced paisley stamp set, available in the mini catalogue until the end of April 2012.  This stamp set is such great value at just £20.95 for a set of 7 stamps in wood mount, or £16.95 in clear mount.

We stamped a random pattern over a piece of 12”x12” whisper white cardstock, and then with a little cutting and scoring, made a box and cards from it.  We stamped on the envelopes to make a complete matching set. And nothing went to waste – we even made a matching bookmark from the offcuts.

Everyone did really well and were very proud of what they produced as they had taken a blank piece of card and turned it into something so pretty with just a little stamping, cutting and scoring.

That’s what I love so much about Stampin’ Up!  Their products are so fabulous that they make it so easy to produce such great, professional results!  Thank you Stampin Up!

Tiny tags hugs and butterfly kisses…

I love these colours together!  And the lucky limeade colour from the new in colours set is quickly becoming my new favourite!  I’ve been using it a lot on my Christmas cards too … more on that soon…

I cased this card from the ideas book and catalogue from Stampin Up, which is full of great ideas and card examples –  and it is such great value and around the same price as a craft magazine, but with nearly 200 hundred different projects in – wow!

I’ve been busy, busy, busy making projects lately, and I am so excited that I will be at the Hobbycrafts event at the NEC in Birmingham this weekend, helping on the Stampin Up stand with some of my fellow Pink Ladies …

The show runs from Thursday 3 November, to Sunday 6 November 2011 – and if you’re coming along please be sure to stop by and say hi – we’ll be on stand C16  (not far from the small coffee and seating area).

We have all been busy making lots of beautiful things for the stand, and there will be lots to see, demos to watch, a prize draw, show specials and FREE make and takes for you to enjoy – you can check them out on the Hobbycraft website here.

There’ll be lots of projects on display to hopefully inspire you …

Have a great day and hope to see you there…

Thanks for dropping by today
