A few of my lovely friends came round last night for a crafting get-together. Anyone who knows me knows I love, love, love Christmas! In fact, my friend, Jackie, nicknames me Mrs Christmas! (I really don’t know what she means …) But Christmas is only a few weeks away and the big day will be here before we know it, so all the things we made were of a Christmassy theme.
We got to play with some of the fabulous new goodies from Stampin’ Up. We used one of their new clear mount stamp sets – Contempo Christmas – together with the matching ornament punch to make this card, which is a case of the card we got to make at the Stampin’ Up crafting event in Manchester recently…
Don’t you just love the new organza ribbon? It’s quickly becoming one of my favourites. And here’s the card again with a matching goody bag which is just begging for some scrummy choccies to be put inside…
We had a fabulous time using the gorgeous new card and ink colours in early espresso and cherry cobbler…even the names are scrummy…I could eat them! And having a punch that matches the stamped image perfectly gives a great finish to the card – love it!
Stampin’ Up! supplies used:
cardstock: early espresso, cherry cobbler, whisper white; inks: early espresso, cherry cobbler, craft white; accessories: white organza ribbon, silver elastic cord, ornament punch, corner rounder, glue dots, snail adhesive.
I’ll be posting more pics of the other things we made over the next few days, so please stop by again soon.
