I was asked to make a personalised wedding card. The wedding theme is lilac and silver, but during Stampin Up’s colour renovation their lilac colour, lavender lace, was retired. I had just enough cardstock left in my stash to make this card, using ink to sponge the edge of a white base card to keep with the lilac theme.
I’m having great fun using all the new dies and embossing folders from the mini catalogue. The top note die is just perfect for making toppers and is so elegant – love it! So, not a clean and simple card in sight …just lots of lovely layers….
Stampin Up supplies used:
Cardstock: lavender lace (retired), whisper white; Inks: lavender lace, versamark; Stamp sets: occasional quotes (level 3 hostess set), just perfect alphabet, big bold birthday; Punches: large heart, itty bitty bud shapes pack, beautiful wings embosslit, top note die, scallop trim border, scallop trim corner; Accessories: silver embossing powder, basic rhinestones, whisper white organza ribbon, stampamajig, stampin dimensionals, glue dots, sponge daubers.
