This lovely butterfly image is from the Strength & Hope stamp set from Stampin Up (you can find more information about this set by following the link here or on the righthand sidebar). I used the rock-and-roll technique to stamp the butterflies in two shades of blue ink and added some dazzling diamonds to make their wings sparkle. A single pearl to each one completed them.
I love the way the single row of stamped stitching down the side looked – it makes a perfect border.
I noticed that the Less is More challenge this week is to make a card with a butterfly or butterflies on it… I’ve never entered this challenge before, or indeed any challenge :-), but by fate I’d made a butterfly card so I thought I’d enter it …I just hope it meets their brief 🙂

Cardstock: whisper white, marina mist; Stamp sets: strength & hope, in stitches, occasional quotes; Inks: marina mist, bashful blue; Punch: scallop trim border; Accessories: dazzling diamonds, basic pearls.
