Before I put away my new up, up and away stamp set, I inked it up again to make this Father’s Day card for my father-in-law …
I was inspired by this card I saw on Pinterest.
For my version, I sponged a strip of whisper white cardstock with bashful blue and certainly celery inks using my sponge daubers to create the background, and mounted this onto a tempting turquoise card base.
Next, I stamped several balloons in different colours onto whisper white card, cut them out using my paper snips and mounted onto the card with stampin’ dimensionals.
The sentiment is from a retired set, stamped in early espresso onto a small strip of whisper white card, and shaped a little with my bone folder to create a flag shape.
