Creative elements wedding card …

There seems to have been a lot of weddings around lately – but I guess it is the season for it!  The parker’s patterns designer series paper was perfect for this pretty wedding card for my friend, Amy.  I added a row of stamping in marina mist ink close to both edges, stamping off once to achieve a paler colour.  The sentiment from the teeny tiny wishes stamp set was stamped in basic grey ink, using my stamp-a-majig for perfect placement …

I cut out two hearts from very vanilla cardstock with the hearts framelits from Stampin’ Up, and stamped them with the flourish from the creative elements stamp set in marina mist ink.

I used the brush tip of a marina mist marker pen to colour in some areas, adding darker strokes for shading here and there with the narrow tip of the pen.  I adhered the hearts to the card with stampin’ dimensionals, and added adhesive pearls of different sizes in a random pattern.

Finally, I tied a length of marina mist striped organdy ribbon around the card in a neat bow.
